Training Philosophy
Silver Oak owner and trainer, Leah Daniels, offers training options for horses of all breeds and disciplines, specializing in young horse training and restarting for English disciplines. Rooted in Classical riding, her expertise extends to training young horses and rehabilitating "problem" horses, emphasizing trust and confidence building. Leah advocates for holistic approaches, blending cross-training methods for physical and mental well-being.
Leah’s training philosophy integrates Classical methods of Dressage and jumping with natural techniques, fostering well-rounded horses capable of excelling in various disciplines. Through structured groundwork, flatwork, and specialized exercises, she aims to nurture confident and calm equine partners ready for success.
A thirty day evaluation period is recommended to get started, and from there Leah will work with the owner to develop a careful plan to achieve the results desired. Along with a plan, training logs and monthly goal updates are sent regularly, and the owner is encouraged to visit and observe training sessions on a scheduled basis.
Exercising options are also available - ideal for owners who are on vacation or otherwise need to take some time away but don't want their horse to lose momentum in their training or fitness.
