EXTRA CARE OPTIONS

Below are optional or as-needed services offered by Silver Oak. You can add or remove any of the extra care options. The monthly extra care services are billed on a month-to-month basis, and are not prorated.

As-needed Extra Care Services

  • Basic Grooming: brushing whole horse, combing mane and tail, picking hooves.   

  • Deep Groom: curry and brush whole horse, wipe down to shine, combing and detangling mane and tail, picking hooves, applying moisturizer/detangler to mane and tail, and oil on hooves.    

  • Bathing: full body shampoo and conditioner including mane and tail.

  • Giving Medication (oral or topical only)  

  • Standing for Vet or Farrier

  • Scheduling and Coordinating Vet or Farrier

Monthly Extra Care Services

  • Daily Basic Grooming (5x per week)

  • Solo turnout paddock

  • Fly mask on/off daily

  • Blanketing on/off daily

AS-NEEDED EXTRA CARE SERVICES

Stall Cleaning — $15 / stall

Supplemental Hay — $3 / flake

Basic Grooming — $20 each

Deep Grooming— $40 each

Bathing — $75 each

Administering Medication (oral or topical only) — $5 per application

Standing for Veterinarian / Farrier —$50 per visit

Coordinating Vet/Farrier — $25 per visit

MONTHLY EXTRA CARE SERVICES

Daily Feet Pick — $25

Daily Basic Grooming (five times per week) — $150

Daily fly mask on/off (plus owner provided fly spray ) — $15

Daily blanket on/off — $15

Onsite Trailer Storage — $25

Private Solo Turnout Paddock — $100

EXERCISE OPTIONS

Light Ride - Max 30 mins - $45

Training Ride - Max 1 hr - $65

Lunging - $25

Hand-walk only - $1 per minute walking (increments of 5 minutes)
