Monthly Lesson Rates
At Silver Oak Stables, we offer a monthly tuition based program. Tuition based lessons are meant to be very similar to other activities you or your rider participate in, such as: sports, music lessons, gym membership, etc. This secures a day and time for a lesson per week, or multiple lessons per week depending on instructor availability.
Lesson packages include access to audit clinics and workshops, and access to fun barn events. That means when you sign up for one lesson a week, you are joining a wonderful community of equestrians! All lessons run 45-60 minutes.
Introductory Lesson - $70
All beginning and prospective students are required to schedule an introductory lesson. Our 60-minute private intro lessons are designed to build beginner skills, safety awareness, and a strong connection with the horse. Open to ages 6 and up, intro lessons includes hands-on experience both in the saddle and on the ground, with a focus on proper horse care. Intros are an opportunity to get to know us, and for us to get to know your skills and goals!

“There are so many great aspects about working with horses. The sport teaches compassion, hard work, dealing with success and failure, and many other character building steps. Perhaps the most important aspect is the connection between horse and rider, an element that is unique to equestrian sports. Riders of all ages learn to deal with adversity and develop invaluable life experience through this relationship with their partner.”
