  • Leah Daniels - Owner & Trainer

    Leah Daniels brings over 25 years of experience in the equestrian world, beginning with eventing and advancing through dedicated training and competition. She has worked with esteemed professionals such as Yves Sauvignon, Debbie Port, and Valerie Bertoli, while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of horses, from spirited off-the-track Thoroughbreds to sturdy Morgans. Her volunteer work with horse rescues enriched her skills, aiding neglected or abused horses in their recovery and retraining journeys.

    Rooted in classical riding, Leah specializes in training young horses, rehabilitating "problem" horses, and fostering trust through holistic methods. Her approach includes cross-training for mental and physical well-being, incorporating groundwork, bodywork, trails, flatwork, and polework. A seasoned stable manager with experience in non-profit rescues, private barns, and veterinary clinics, Leah is committed to safety and personalized care. As a passionate teacher, she tailors her instruction to each rider and handler, helping them build confidence, foundational skills, and a harmonious connection with their horse.

  • Sasha Omholt - Riding Instructor

    Sasha brings a lifetime of riding experience and a warm, approachable teaching style. With a background in both English and Western disciplines, she has worked extensively with students of all ages and skill levels. As a former instructor at Strides Academy, Sasha built a reputation for being patient, knowledgeable, and kind—qualities we know will make her an excellent fit for our program.

  • Andre Ganc - Trainer

    Andre is an accomplished dressage rider and has achieved the title of Brazilian National Champion in dressage. He is an S dressage and WE judge in Brazil. He is also a dressage trainer for competition horses as well as a coach for riders in multiple equestrian disciplines. Andre is an approved Lusitano Breed National Judge. Andre has availability for partial training, and lessons in classical dressage and Working Equitation. Haul ins are welcome and frequent.

  • Noni Smith - Trainer

    Noni Smith has been professionally teaching horseback riding and training horses for over 30 years, with most of her experience rooted in Sonoma County. She has worked with prominent trainers across multiple disciplines, including dressage, hunters, jumpers, eventing, and western riding. Specializing in Hunter/Jumpers with a dressage foundation, Noni has extensive experience training young and challenging horses, as well as upper-level horses in various disciplines.

    As a seasoned instructor, Noni has taught riders of all ages, starting as young as four, and served as the founder and program director of Shasta Riding Club, a nonprofit riding program in Weed from 2014–2017. There, she taught over 100 students and ran successful day and summer camps, making horseback riding accessible to children and adults alike. Noni’s training and lesson programs incorporate trail riding, cross-training, and arena work, with a focus on safety, building confidence, and having fun. She offers lessons, full training, and hauling-in options for riders of all ages and skill levels, from groundwork to finishing show horses.
